Finally, The Rain Has Stopped – Mid Michigan
After 3 days of almost constant rain and 3.6 inches total, we can finally see the sun again. Temperatures have cooled down significantly but will be back up to normal over the next two weeks. At least that’s what they’re telling us now. We have very little color so far which is quite unusual for the end of September. I’m noticing a decrease in bird traffic at my feeders and all I’m seeing right now are catbirds and a few sparrows. I haven’t seen a hummingbird now for 5 days, so it must be time to take the feeder down for the year. Highs today will only make it into the low to mid 60s and it will be quite breezy.
Our 12:45 PM temperature is 60°F (16°F), the humidity is 72%, and skies are mostly cloudy with some sun peeking through. The dew point is 51°F (11°C) and the pressure is 29.86 in (1011.2 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Winds are from the west at 3-11 mph. Yesterday’s high was 72°F (22°C) and the overnight low was 53°F (12°C). Average temps for this date are 69°F / 48°F.
