A Pleasant Sunday Afternoon in Mid Michigan
We had some light rain overnight which left 0.02″ in my rain gauge. Temperatures were warm all night and even with the windows open, it wasn’t very chilly in the house this morning. Highs today are expected to be in the mid 70s, and it’s almost there now. Breezes are light and it’s just a very nice day. The sky is mostly cloud covered, but we see the sun peeking out occasionally. We could see more rain tonight. Since I no longer have TV service where weather channels are available to me, I’ve been getting my weather info from “Ryan Hall Y’all”, on YouTube. He does a decent job of weather predicting, and he is saying that the next few days will be very stormy in central regions of the US. Michigan only has a slight chance of severe weather so far, and I hope it stays that way.
Our 1 PM temperature is 74°F (22°C), the humidity is 82%, and winds are from the SSE at 2-9 mph. The pressure is at 29.77 in (1008.1 mb) and steady. Yesterday’s high was 73°F (22°C) and the overnight low was 60°F (16°C). Average temps for this date are 62°F / 44°F. Sunrise was at 7:43 AM and sunset will be at 7:02 PM.
