More Chilly, Wet weather In Mid Michigan
Yesterday morning began with rain, and it continued until late afternoon. Then the skies cleared and we had about two hours of sunshine. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long, and we received more rain overnight. Today is chilly once again and there are puddles standing everywhere. The river is high and over it’s banks in many places. The storm systems that have been affecting the eastern portions of the country seem to be unrelenting, and keep training in from the west. Southern states keep getting these severe storms and tornadoes every week. At least we’ve been spared from those so far. We are looking forward to a significant warm-up next week, hopefully a dry week.
