Much Cooler After Sunday’s Storms – Mid Michigan
Yesterday was another very warm although windy day. Storms didn’t arrive until the evening, and we did receive a lot of rain but nothing severe. There was a total of 1.10″ in my gauge this morning. Today feels more like late March once again. The next two days are expected to only see highs in the 40s. That’s much too chilly for this time of year. We get these teaser days and then back to the cold. It’s hard to believe that it’s almost May and we’re still seeing the possibility of winter-mix precipitation in our forecasts. I have every hope that warm weather will eventually come and stay. The big question is when.
Our 11 am temperature is 55°F, the humidity is 64%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the WSW at 5-12 mph. The dew point is 43°F. The pressure is 29.79 in and rising. Visibility is 11 miles. Yesterday’s high was 82°F and the overnight low was 53°F. Average temps for this date are 60°F / 40°F. Sunrise was at 6:38 am and sunset will be at 8:29 PM.
