As Hurricane Milton is bearing down on Florida, they are already getting very heavy rains and tornadoes. Landfall is still expected early tomorrow morning somewhere near the Tampa-St Petersburg area. My heart breaks for the people stranded in the mountains of North Carolina, and I think it is criminal that the government seems to have written them off.
