The rain began late yesterday afternoon, then became heavy overnight. There was 1.37″ in my rain gauge this morning, and rain continued today until early afternoon. A flood watch is in effect. Although we had no severe weather yesterday, we did have a few thunderstorms that passed over giving us 0.45″ of rainfall. Other areas weren’t as lucky. We had a popup thundershower yesterday evening which dropped 0.16″ of rain on us. It was just a small cell which formed just to our northwest, and it moved right over us.
