Yesterday was a typical early December day with overcast skies and cold temps. We did receive a bit of snow early in the evening, which left a light covering of white, mainly on smooth surfaces. Most of it was gone by morning with still just a trace remaining. There is more snow in the forecast for tonight, but the heavy snow which is affecting areas to our south, is totally missing us. We are under a high wind warning until 10 pm, with gusts as high as 45 mph possible. This is from the cold front which arrived overnight and caused tornadoes and much wind damage in the south.
