Our weather has been redundant and is getting very boring. We did have snow flurries most of Friday but barely enough to be seen on bare surfaces. Yesterday became cloudy with rain developing in the late afternoon. It ended right around midnight and we only received 0.12″. This morning began with fog and cloudy skies. After almost a week of gloom, we finally have clear skies. But with that came very cold temperatures. It was only 12F when I got up this morning. We should see a substantial warm-up later but temps will probably not rise above the freezing mark. Another significant rise in temperatures is coming our way with highs above average. What a difference a day with sunlight makes! Our local station is already warning us to enjoy it because tomorrow will be cloudy once again. I can’t remember the last time that we saw the sun but it’s been at least two weeks, maybe longer. My prime weather guru, Ryan Hall, said that our part of the country will see above-average temperatures for most of the remaining January. So what does that mean?
