Much Too Hot In Mid Michigan
Okay, I think I’m ready for autumn. This 90°F weather is really getting to me. It’s too hot to even go out and sit. Even my outdoor cats don’t want any part of it and would rather hang out in the basement. That’s okay. I keep a fresh bowl of water on the deck for them, or any other creatures that need it. Occasionally I see a raccoon or an opossum out there as well. I also keep the moats on my bird feeders filled with fresh water, since I’ve notices the birds drinking out them occasionally. Today has been dry and there is no rain in the forecast until tomorrow. We have a bit of a breeze but it doesn’t do any good when the temperature is near 90F.
