Sunny But Cool In Mid Michigan
Our skies don’t seem to be as smoke-filled as the few previous days, and temperatures are a little below where they should be. We keep hearing that we should get some rain this weekend, and I’m sure hoping that it’s true. Today is the 15th day with no rain and lawns are starting to turn brown. I keep a bowl of water on my deck for any critter who needs a drink. I know the dog and cats are using it for sure, and probably an opossum and some raccoons. I had one coon that was attacking my bird feeders, so now I bring them in for the night. I haven’t set my trail cam for the past two nights, so I don’t know if he’s still showing up.
Our 1 PM temperature is 73°F (23°C), the humidity is 29%, and winds are from the NE at 3-11 mph. The dew point is 31°F (-1°C) and the UV Index is very high at 10. The pressure is 29.76 in (1007.8 mb) and falling. Visibility is 14 miles. Yesterday’s high was 72°F (22°C) and the overnight low was 41°F (5°C). Average temps for this date are 76°F/54°F.
