Active Air Quality Alert Still In Effect – Mid Michigan
Our air is still filled with smoke from the Canadian wildfires, mostly in the sky. This morning was very hazy as a result but it doesn’t seem as bad now. Once the rain comes this weekend, things should be better, or at least that’s what they’re telling us. It sounds like we could get a good dousing, maybe even up to an inch of rain. That would be wonderful. Our sunrises and sunsets have been orange lately. At least we can see some blue sky through the smoke today
Our 3:30 PM temperature is 79°F (26°C), the humidity is 29%, and winds are from the NW at 5-10 mph. The Air Quality Index is 85, which is moderate, and the UV Index is very high at 8. Visibility is 13 miles. The pressure is 29.80 in (1009.2 mb) and falling. Yesterday’s high was 75°F (24°C) and the overnight low was 43°F (6°C). Average temps for this date are 77°F/54°F. Sunrise was at 5:58 AM and sunset will be at 9:15 PM.
