Happy July 4TH From Mid Michigan
Happy Independence Day to everyone! I hope that everyone is enjoying great weather and having a wonderful time with friends and family. As for me, I have a case of bronchitis which has been hanging on now for a week. It seems to be getting better but not fast enough. Highs today will reach into the low 90s so maybe I should go out and sit in the heat for awhile. Today we have plenty of sun and our air quality is pretty good. There is an air quality alert for southern Michigan because of ozone, not wildfire, but the alert doesn’t reach this far north. There is no rain in the forecast for today, so that is good for all of those outdoor activities.
Our 1 PM temperature is 87°F (31°C), the humidity is 48% and the dew point is 61°F (16°C). Winds are from the west at 3-6 mph, and the pressure is 30.06 in (1018.0 mb) and steady. The Air Quality Index is good at 42, and the UV Index is very high at 10. Yesterday’s high was 88°F (31°C) and the overnight low was 63°F (17°C). Average temps for this date are 82°F/59°F. Sunrise was at 6:03 AM and sunset will be at 9:20 PM.
