A Little Overnight Thunder . . . .

A Little Overnight Thunder . . . .

Yesterday was quite nice, but what began as sunny, became overcast as the day wore on.  Some rain developed overnight, and there were a few thundershowers included.  There was  0.31″ of rain in my gauge this morning, and the rain continued for a few more hours after that.  Now the sun is shining with a few breaks in the clouds.  Radar is showing the rain to be past us for now, but with the sun out, I think a few more thunder boomers could spring up.

Our 1:15 PM temperature is 69F, the humidity is 82°F, and winds are from the SW at 3-6 mph.  The pressure is 29.93 in and steady, and visibility is 10 miles.  The dew point is 60°F.  Yesterday’s high was 76°F and the overnight low was 56°F.  Average temps for this date are 65°F/42°F.  The record high for May 2 is 86°F set in 1959, and the record low is 20°F set in 1867.  Sunrise was at 6:28 AM, and sunset will be at 8:41 PM.
