Beryl Leaving Us Very Wet . . . .

Beryl Leaving Us Very Wet . . . .

Post Tropical Storm Beryl left her calling card last night and early today.  The rain has finally stopped and radar is showing most of it past us.  There was 2.52″ in my rain gauge at 8:30 this morning, and we received another 0.43″ since then.  Temperatures have cooled off remarkably and it feels good.  It won’t last, however, with highs back into the upper 80s again next week.  We are under a flood watch until 8 PM tonight, but we shouldn’t have any problem here in my location.  With all the rain that fell, I’m surprised that there isn’t more standing water.

Our 2 PM temperature is 68°F (20°C), the humidity is 83%, and winds are from the north at 10-23 mph.  The pressure is 29.77 in (1008.1 mb) and raising, and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 86°F (30°C), and the overnight low was 61°F (16°C).  Average temps for this date are 82°F/60°F.  Sunrise was at 6:08 AM, and sunset will be at 9:17 PM.
