This will be our last very warm day for a while.  Highs should reach the upper 80s this afternoon, before thunderstorms develop ahead of a welcome cold front.  The chance for rain will remain until Wednesday, and then it should remain dry right into next weekend.  Highs will stay in the 70s, and I’m really liking that.  The long term forecast called for our July to be hot and dry.  The hot happened but not the dry.

Our 9:45 AM temp is 74°F (23°C), the humidity is 84%, and skies are mostly clear.  The pressure is 29.98 in (1015.2 mb) and steady, and the dew point is 64°F (18°C).  Visibility is 10 miles and winds are calm.  Yesterday’s high was 87°F (31°C), and the overnight low was 67°F (19°C).  The record high for August 3 is 98°F (37°C) set in 1988, and the record low is 32°F (0°C) set in 1884.  Sunrise was at 6:32 AM, and sunset will be at 8:55 PM.
