Loving This Cool Weather . . . .

Loving This Cool Weather . . . .

We have another comfortable day ahead of us.  Our last night’s lows were wonderful for sleeping with the window open, and tonight should be as well.  We should be able to enjoy this weather until the weekend, when highs will again reach into the upper 80s.  I’m hearing that this will be a cool autumn for our area.  I just hope it isn’t too cool.  The 60s and 70s would be fine with me.  I’ve been noticing how green everything is for this time of year.  Usually it is hot and dry, and lawns are brown.  We’ve had so much rain this summer that everything is still as green as it was back in June.  Also, I’m starting to see some colored leaves in a few trees, and September is almost here.  This summer has gone by so quickly.

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 74°F (23°C), the humidity is 51%, and skies are mostly clear.  Winds are from the south at 1-5 mph, and the pressure is 30.19 in (1022.4 mb) and falling.  The dew point is 51°F (11°C), and visibility is 15 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 72°F (22°C), and the overnight low was 46°F (8°C).  Records for August 21 are 99°F (1955), and 38°F (1894).  Sunrise was at 6:52 AM, and sunset will be at 8:29 PM.
