Severe Weather Possible . . . .

Severe Weather Possible . . . .

There is a possibility of severe weather later today, but one would never know it now.  Other than feeling like an oven outdoors, and the humidity and dew points making it feels almost unbearable, a good thunderstorm would be welcome.  We did have some this morning, but for us, it was more thunder than rain.  There was only 0.07″ in my gauge after it passed.  Temperatures should be about 10 degrees cooler tomorrow.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 88°F (31°C), the humidity is 63%, and the dew point is 72°F (22°C).  Winds are from the south at 3-6 mph, and the pressure is 29.90 in (1012.5 mb) and steady.  Skies are mostly clear.  Visibility is 11 miles.  Yesterday’s high was  90F (32C), and the overnight low was 70°F (21°C).  Average temps for this date are 78°F/57°F.  Record temps for August 26 are 96°F (1948), and 32°F (1883).  Sunrise was at 6:57 AM, and sunset will be at 8:21 PM.
