We woke to a world of hoar frost this Sunday morning, and beautiful it is!    Along with the beauty are very cold temperatures.  At least we are expecting warmer temps for this upcoming week.  Yesterday brought cloudy skies and intermittent snow showers most of the day.  There was very little accumulation however.  We have about 4.5 inches of snow cover and it should last most of this week.  Warmer weather is heading our way with projected highs in the 40s by next weekend.  Of course, we know how quickly that can change.

Our 9:45 AM EST temperature is 4.3°F (-15°C), the humidity is 79%, and skies are clear.  The pressure is 30.64 in (1037.3 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles and winds are calm.  The dew point is -13°F (-25°C).  Sunrise was at 8:05 AM and sunset will be at 5:25 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 15°F (-9°C) and the overnight low was -11°F (-24°C).   The record high for Jan. 14 was 60°F (16°C) set in 1950, and the record low is -16°F (-27°C) set in 1918.  Normals for this date are 30°F / 15°F.
