November Is Beginning With Very Wet Conditions – Mid Michigan
This past October has been one of the wettest that I can remember. There were very few days that we didn’t get some rain and even fewer where we saw the sun. I am hoping that November will be better but it certainly is not starting out that way. Out of the next 6 days, rain is in the forecast 3 days, and only 1 sunny day which is tomorrow. Even that remains to be seen. Daylight savings time ends tomorrow so at least it will be light at 8AM once again. The colors this fall haven’t been particularly wonderful, especially the reds. The yellows have been quite brilliant however.
Our 9:45 AM temperature is 39°F (4°C), the humidity is 86%, and skies are overcast. The pressure is 29.79 in (1008.8 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. The dew point is 36°F (2°C), and winds are from the northwest at 7 mph giving us a wind chill os 34°F (1°C). Yesterday’s high was 48°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 37°F (3°C). Averages for this date are 53°F / 38°F. Sunrise was at 8:11 AM and sunset will be at 6:27 PM.
