June 2, Mid Michigan
Today is beginning with mostly clear skies, cool temperatures, and there is a slight chance of rain later in the day. I love the month of June. Everything seems so green and fresh, Nature hasn’t been affected yet by molds, fungus, and heat. The evenings are very quiet with an occasional sound of a bird or a barking dog. Even the frogs have quieted down. With all the rain that we have had this spring, I can’t believe that the mosquitoes aren’t more plentiful . . . not that I’m complaining.
