It Really Feels Like Autumn In Mid Michigan
Temperatures this morning were in the 40s when I left for work, and they are still much below where they should be for this date. It looks and feels like a day in late September or even early October except there is no color. This has been a very strange summer, and I hope that it isn’t a prelude to what will happen once winter actually gets here. Predictions for this area are for a normal winter, and that means cold temps and lots of snow. I can handle “normal” as long as we don’t see any blizzards or ice storms like we had three years ago. The past two winters have been mild, and after 2013-2014, we deserved it.
Our 1:30 PM temp is 66°F (19°C), the humidity is 49%, and winds are from the west at 3 mph. Skies are mostly to partly cloudy. The dew point is 44°F (6°C), and the pressure is 29.93 in (1013.2 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 70°F (21°C) and the overnight low was 44°F (7°C). Normals for this date are 76°F / 54°F.
