Another Winter Storm For This Weekend – Mid Michigan
We have yet another storm knocking on our door, but this time it should be snow, not ice. It is expected to begin tonight and last through most of tomorrow. The winter weather advisory is from midnight tonight until noon tomorrow. Snow amounts are expected to be around 3-6 inches. That’s much better than ice. A winter weather advisory is in effect for all of southern lower Michigan. Our morning is beginning with mostly cloudy skies but we are supposed to see quite a bit of sun today. Hopefully that will rid us of some of this ice on our deck, even though the highs are only supposed to reach the upper 20s. We continue to have about 50% ice cover on the ground.
Our 8:45 AM temperature is 19°F (-7°C), the humidity is 75%, and winds are from the east at 4 mph. The wind chill is 15°F (-9°C) and skies are mostly cloudy.
