Snow Began, Now Won’t Quit – Mid Michigan
The last few days have brought us snow and more snow. We started out with a few inches, then four inches yesterday. We have had off and on snow showers most of today but no real accumulations. Our snow pack is about 4 inches right now and another snow system is expected tomorrow with another 2-4 inches for us. I guess that Mother Nature decided that she’s running out of time and better give us some winter before it’s too late. This has not been good for winter sports enthusiasts. There is very little ice on the lakes, not enough for ice fishing, and yet people will chance it and even drive their vehicles out there. I don’t think I would ever drive out on the ice and I don’t care how thick the ice is.
