A Sunny Sundy And Warmer Temps – Mid Michigan
After a very frigid past two days, the sun today is a welcome sight. The temperature even made it up to 40° according to my weather station. Much of the snow is melting, especially in the sunny areas. As of 8 AM, we still had 3.5 in of snow cover and I know that will be significantly less by tomorrow. Days like this really give me spring fever. Yes, I’m ready for winter to end, even though we didn’t have much winter here in southern Michigan.
Our 2:45 PM temperature is 40°F (4°C), the humidity is 53%, and skies are mostly clear with a few scattered clouds. Winds are from the south at 6-11 mph giving us a wind chill of 32°F (0°C). The dew point is 24°F (-4°C). The pressure is 29.90 in (1012.5 mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 27°F (-3°C). Averages for this date are 30°F/ 17°F. Sunrise was at 7:32 AM and sunset will be at 6:08 PM.
