Coldest Temperatures Of The Season Are Upon Us – Mid Michigan

My weather station is telling me that is got down to -6°F overnight although it was 1°F when I got up at 8:30 AM.  Regardless, it feels mighty cold out there in spite of the sun.  Skies have been clear all morning and are just now starting to cloud up a bit.  Thankfully, there isn’t much wind.  We have about 4.5 inches of snow cover now and I’m expecting much of that to melt this weekend.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 18°F (-8°C).  The humidity is 54% and winds are from the west at 3-7 mph.  The pressure is 30.35 in (1027.8 mb) and steady.  The wind chill is 13 mph and the dew point is 3°F (-16°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 31°F (-1°C) and the overnight low is -6°F (-21°C).  Sunrise was at 7:35 AM and sunset will be at 6:06 PM.
