Some Stormy Weather Heading Our Way – Mid Michigan
Our official first day of spring is beginning with some light fog and cloudy skies. We received a small amount of rain overnight with a lot more on the way. We could see our first thunderstorms today and tomorrow and I always welcome that. It seems that everything really comes to life after a thunderstorm. The buds come out of the trees and the grass greens up substantially. The rain isn’t supposed to get here until late this afternoon and I’m seeing our temperature rising very quickly this morning. The sun is trying to peek through the clouds but I don’t expect to see much of it today.
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 37°F (3°C), the humidity is 98%, and winds are variable at 2-3 mph. Visibility is 2 miles. The pressure is 29.97 in (1014.9 mb) and steady, and the dew point is 33°F (1°C). Skies are cloudy. The high yesterday was 49°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C). Average temperatures for this date are 44°F / 28°F. Sunrise was at 7:41 AM and sunset will be at 7:48 PM.
