It Feels Like January This 2nd Day Of Spring – Mid Michigan
It looks beautiful out there this morning, until you stick your head out. Everything was covered in frost but the sun really brightened things up. It seems good to see daylight at 7:30 AM again. I always get up fairly early in the morning and I hate it being dark so late. Today will not be warm and highs are only expected to reach the upper 30s to 40° if we’re lucky. I even heard that we could get up to 2 inches of snow tonight. I guess it’s a good thing that most people don’t have to go anywhere in the morning. Of course, health care workers, police, and firefighters never get the day off, but at least there will be no school buses to contend with.
Our 9:45 AM temperature is 28°F (-2°C), the humidity is 70%, and skies are mostly clear. Winds are from the NE at 4-6 mph. The wind chill is 24°F (-4°C) and the dew point is 16°F (-9°C). Visibility is 10 miles. The pressure is 30.37 in and steady. Yesterday’s high was 33°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 16°F (-9°C). Average temps for this date are 45°F / 29°F. Sunrise was at 7:34 AM and sunset will be at 7:51 PM.
