A Stormy Sunday For Michigan

This radar image was from this morning when a line of thunderstorms moved across the state, causing severe storm warnings in various places.   We were under a warning briefly, but there was nothing here that was severe.  Yes, there was plenty of thunder and lightning but rain amounts were only 0.15″.  I’m hearing that a tornado was spotted near Roscommon but haven’t heard of any damage reports.  Durand is shown in the lower portion of the image and we just got a small edge of it.  People in Saginaw and Bay City are reporting over an inch of rain.  Current radar images are showing another large mass of rain heading our way and that is expected here shortly.  It looks like that will be  the order of the day.
