We are under a winter weather advisory from 4 PM this afternoon, until 4 AM tomorrow.  We are expecting around 2-4 inches of snow and very strong winds will develop with gusts up to 40 mph possible.  The next 24 hours will not be a good time to be out and about.  This morning began with clear skies but clouds have taken over.  Temperatures are about as mild as we can expect over the next 3-4 days.  A Lansing meteorologist has warned that the snow will began as rain, then turn to snow.  Temps will begin dropping suddenly and the snow will become a frozen mess.  He warned that any shoveling should be done before the temperature fall too low.  I guess Mother Nature woke up and decided that we can’t get off this easy.
