A Much Colder Day Than Yesterday – Mid Michigan

I’m hoping that this is the last very cold day that we’ll have.  Temperatures are suppose to start warming up over the next few days and return more to average.  We are currently under a winter storm advisory with another 3-5 inches of snow expected before noon tomorrow.  If that happens, we’ll have nearly a foot of snow cover.  It seems like it has been snowing everyday since February began.  We keep getting an inch or two every day.  We now have about 7.5 in of snow as of this morning.  It snowed a little this morning but it was continuous all day Sunday.  A neighbor came and plowed out our driveway earlier and that was nice.  My husband wasn’t going to bother with it until tomorrow when the snow was finished.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 14F (-10C), the humidity is 59% and skies are cloudy.  The snow has stopped for now but is expected to resume around 6PM.  Winds are from the NNW at 2-8 mph, and the pressure is 30.06 in (1018.0 mb) and falling.  The dew point is -2F (-17C).  Yesterday’s high was 17F (-8C) and the overnight low was 7F (-14C).  Average temps for this date are 29F / 16F.
