A Beautiful Easter Weekend For Mid Michigan
We couldn’t have a nicer weekend for our Easter celebrations than what this one is turning out to be. We probably won’t quite reach 70F but will be close tomorrow and early next week. Regardless, there isn’t any rain, or better yet snow, in the forecast and that’s a good thing. The buds on bushes and trees are really starting to appear and I think that we’ll be seeing leaves early this year. I’m hearing reports that we could still get some very cold weather and I’m hoping it’s wrong. I certainly don’t want a repeat of last spring.
Our 11 AM temperature is 45°F (7°C), the humidity is 45%, and winds are from the SE at 7-17 mph. Skies are mostly cloudy with the sun trying to make an appearance. The dew point is 21°F (-6°C) and the wind chill is 36°F (2°C). The pressure is 29.96 in (1014.6 mb) and falling. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 46°F (8°C) and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C). Average temps for this date are 50°F / 32°F. Sunrise was at 7:15 AM and sunset will be at 8:04 PM.
