Wet, Windy And Cold In Mid Michigan
Today is a dark, dreary day with intermittent rain falling. Yesterday’s showers brought us our first snow of the season, and even though it was a snow and rain mix, it still looked like white flakes to me. There is no snow falling today, although it certainly is cold enough. It looks and feels like a day in late November and a local meteorologist said that there are 18 ft. waves on Lake Michigan today, and 24 ft. waves on Lake Superior. I hope that the freighters are all in harbor.
Our 2:45 pm temperature is 41°F, the humidity is 87%, and we have light rain. Winds are from the WNW at 12-17 mph, and the dew point is 36°F. The pressure is 29.67 in and steady. Visibility is 6 miles. Yesterday’s high was 55°F and the overnight low was 39F. Average temps for this date are 59°F / 40°F. Sunrise was 7:25 am and sunset will be at 6:50 pm.
