Very Cold But Sunny For Our Friday – Mid Michigan

We have mostly clear skies and plenty of sun, but it certainly doesn’t feel like it.   Highs won’t make it out of the teens today and the wind chill makes it even worse.  Thankfully, this is the only day that we’ll have to deal with it because tomorrow will be much warmer.  What’s even better is that the warm air is expected to linger a while.  So, I guess we can deal with one day of frigid.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 13°F, the humidity is 50%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the northwest at 3-12 mph, giving us a wind chill of 5°F.  The dew point is -6°F and visibility is 12 miles.  The pressure is 30.32 in and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 35°F and the overnight low was 3°F.  Average temps for this date are 30°F / 15°F.  Record temps for Feb. 1 are 55°F / -16°F.  Sunrise was at 7:51 AM and sunset will be at 5:52 PM.
