Another Winter Storm Watch For Mid Michigan
We have another winter storm knocking on our door. At least this one is supposed to be snow, not ice. Estimated totals are six to eight inches for my area. At least most of the ice cover is gone thanks to the warm temps that we had yesterday. The Watch is from tomorrow afternoon through tomorrow night. Today will be another hard one for the southern states, as tornadoes will plague them once again. As for us, today’s weather should be tranquil . . . . . .the quiet before the storm.
Our 10:30 AM temperature is 35°F (2°C), the humidity is 93% and skies are overcast. Winds are from the NNE at 2-8 mph and the wind chill is 31°F (-1°C). The dew point is 31°F (-1°C) and visibility is 5 miles. The pressure is 30.09 in (1019.0) and rising. Yesterday’s high was 51°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 27°F (-3°C). Average temps for this date are 38°F / 21°F. Sunrise was at 7:13 AM and sunset will be at 6:27 PM.
