Still Dreary And Damp In Mid Michigan
Yesterday brought us intermittent rain showers which became heavier as the day wore on. There was 0.19″ in my gauge this morning, and looking at the CoCoRahs reports this morning, most stations in southern Michigan recorded more than that. We are seeing a little more color everyday, and peak color isn’t expected for a few more weeks yet. These cloudy skies don’t appear to be going anywhere in the next few days, but the weekend is expected to be nice. We could even see highs back in the low 80s once again.
Our 10:45 AM temperature is 57°F (14°C), the humidity is 95%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the NE at 0-2 mph, and the dew point is 54°F (12°C). The pressure is 29.88 in (1011.9 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 64°F (18°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13°C). Sunrise was at 7:31 AM and sunset will be at 7:25 PM. We continue to lose about 3 minutes of daylight every day.
