A Rainy Day In Mid Michigan

A Rainy Day In Mid Michigan

We woke this morning to a very wet scenario.  There was 0.42″ in my gauge at 8:30, so I know that it had rained most of the night.  We continue to have a steady rain and we can expect this to last most of the day.  Temperatures are mild but colder air will be moving in soon, and this will remain for at least the next week.  We are promised that the end of October will be mild with above average temperatures once again.  We’ll see how accurate that is.

Our 9:45 AM temp is 62°F (17°C), the humidity is 95% and skies are overcast with steady light rain.  Winds are from the SE at 0-3 mph and the dew point is 61°F (16°C).  The pressure is 29.75 in (1007.5 mb) and steady, and visibility is 7 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 82°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 62°F (17°C).  Average temps for this date are 65°F/43°F.  Sunrise was at 7:39 AM and sunset will be at 7:13 PM.
