Cold And Cloudy . . . . .
Today, temperatures will rise to right around freezing, then another significant warmup will arrive. We could see temps reaching near 60F by Wednesday before another bout of cold air comes. It’s that time of year where Mother Nature gives us a taste of spring, but just a teaser. Unfortunately, the temp variants also can bring tornadoes and other severe weather. Michigan’s tornado season is usually May and June, although they can happen any time of the year. The last two that happened close to this area were in February (last year), and March (2019).
Our 1:30 PM temperature is 28°F, the humidity is 59%, and winds are from the west at 3-9 mph. Skies are cloudy. The pressure is 30.16 in and steady. The wind chill is 18°F and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 33°F and the overnight low was 11°F. Record temps for March 2 are 58°F (1992) and -12°F (1967). Sunrise was at 7:12 AM and sunset will be at 6:28 PM.
