Another Rainy Day In Mid Michigan
We had intermittent rain showers yesterday which produced 0.18″ of rain. Today is turning out to be much the same. We did start the day with some sun, but it didn’t last long. Temperatures are a little cooler today with highs only reaching the mid 50s. We’re making up for those above-average temps that we had most of September. I’ve been watching coverage of Hurricane Ian as it moves closer to the west coast of Florida. I have quite a few acquaintances and relatives who live there, so I’m hoping that they will be okay. As for us here in Michigan, temperatures are expected to warm up by this weekend with highs nearing 70°F. Today sure seems like November.
Our 3 PM temperature is 54°F, the humidity is 83%, and it is raining. Winds are from the WNW at 3-5 mph and visibility is 10 miles. The dew point is 54°F and the pressure is 29.90 in and rising. Yesterday’s high was 64°F and the overnight low was 47°F. Average temps for this date are 69°F / 46°F. The record high and low for this date is 86°F / 27°F. Sunrise was at 7:30 AM and sunset will be at 7:27 PM.
