Another Cold, Windy Day – Mid Michigan

Although today isn’t as bad as tomorrow is expected to be, it still is not a comfortable day to be outdoors.  Another cold front is on the horizon and it will bring another day of very strong winds on Saturday.  I guess we may as well get used to it.  The think the cold is here to stay.

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 45°F, the humidity is 48%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the south at 7-16 mph and the dew point is 22°F.  Visibility is 12 miles and the pressure is 29.75 in and falling.  Sunrise was at 7:49 AM and sunset will be at  5:03 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 36F° and the overnight low was 30°F.  Average temps for this date are 39°F / 26°F.

Today:  Overcast with a slight chance of sprinkles.  High 47°F.  Winds S at 10-20 mph.

Tonight:  Becoming cloudy and windy with periods of light rain after midnight.  Low 35°F.  Winds SSW at 20-30 mph.  Chance of rain 70%.  Wind gust could reach 40 mph.

Saturday:  Cloudy and windy in the morning, then partial clearing in the afternoon.  Highs in the 40s early, falling into the 30s by  afternoon.  Winds W at 20-30 mph, gusting to 40 mph.
