Some Warmer Weather Ahead – Mid Michigan

After a very chilly Friday, our weather has taken a welcome turn for the better.  Temps were on the rise all day yesterday, but strong winds made it quite uncomfortable.  Today will be warmer and we should lose more of our snow.  Our snow pack is now down to 3 inches, so it is slowly melting away.  There is more warm weather on the horizon, so I expect most of the snow to be gone by the end of next week.  I’m ready for spring.

Our 10:45 temperature is 39°F, the humidity is 69%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the southwest at 6-11 mph, and the dew point is 26°F.  The pressure is 29.63 in and steady.  Visibility is 11 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 34°F (at midnight), and the overnight low was 34°F.  Average temps for this date are 31°F / 15°F.  Record temps for Feb. 4 are 48°F / -18°F.  Sunrise was at 7:48 AM and sunset will be at 5:55 PM.
