Mild But Not Much Sun in Mid Michigan
Although our temperatures have been above the freezing mark, the snow isn’t melting very fast. We still have about 2 inches of snow pack remaining, and it had a light layer of ice over it this morning. Highs today should make it into the mid 40s, then the winds will pick up and it will be quite blustery this afternoon. There are gale warnings up for Saginaw Bay until 4 pm. I’m glad that I don’t have to go anywhere today.
Our 10 AM temperature is 42°F, the humidity is 79%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the south at 5-11 mph, and the dew point is 32°F. The pressure is 29.63 in and steady, and visibility is 11 miles. Yesterday’s high was 35°F and the overnight low was 29°F. Average temps for this date are 31°F / 15°F. Record temps for Feb. 6 are 52°F / -11°F. Sunrise was at 7:46 AM and sunset will be at 5:57 PM.
