A Lovely Monday In Mid Michigan
After a rainy / snowy Monday, our Tuesday is bright and sunny. We did receive about 1.5″ of snow overnight, but most has already melted. High temperatures will reach to near average today and this round of snow should be gone by tonight. We are already being warned of another winter storm heading our way for Friday. These seem to be never-ending. Now that March is here, we’re getting our winter. What’s even worse is that temperatures are expected to be below normal for a while after that. So it seems that any snow that we get this weekend may be with us for awhile.
Our 1:15 PM temperature is 39°F (4°C), the humidity is 62%, and skies are clear. Winds are from the north at 4-8 mph, and the wind chill is 33°F (1°C). The pressure is 30.22 in (1023.4 mb) and rising. Yesterday’s high was 38°F (3°C) and the overnight low was 26°F (-3°C). Average temps for this date are 40°F / 23°F. Record temps for March 6 are 75°F / -6°F. Sunrise was at 7:03 AM and sunset will be at 6:33 PM.
