More Snow For Mid Michigan

The snow began close to midnight and continued all night.  We woke to a white landscape this morning with about 3 inches of new snow.  It has been snowing since then but mainly just flurries.  A winter weather advisory is in effect until 4 PM.  Three to six inches of snow is what was predicted for my area and I don’t think that we’ll get much more than what we have right now.  It is warm enough that it has already melted where we shoveled on the deck, so I don’t think that it will last long.

Our 10:34 AM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 94%, and skies are cloudy with light snow.  Winds are from the N at 2-5 mph, and visibility is 1.75 miles.  The pressure is 29.52 in (999.7 mb) and falling, and the dew point is 30°F (-1°C).  Yesterday’s high was 42°F (6°C) and the overnight low was 29°F (-2°C).  Average temps for this date are 41°F/24°F.  Record temps for March 9 are 72°F/0°F.  Sunrise was at 6:59 AM and sunset will be at 6:37 PM.
