The Sun Has Returned – Mid Michigan

To look outdoors today, no one would know that we had 3 inches a few days ago.  All of that snow is now gone and the sun is working on the partial ice cover that we still have from our past ice storm.  It isn’t quite warm enough to totally get rid of it, but it is melting little by little.  It’s actually quite nice outdoors although there is a bit of a breeze, making it feel chilly.  I’m not complaining though.  It could be much worse.  There are no impending winter storms coming at this time, at least not for us.  We could see a few flurries but nothing big.

Our 2:45 PM temperature is 36°F (2°C), the humidity is 67%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Visibility is 11 miles and the dew point is 22°F (-6°C).  Winds are from the north at 2-7 mph, and the pressure is 29.74 in (1007.1 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 36°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 21°F (-6°C).  Average temps for this date are 42°F/24°F.  Record temps for March 10 are 68°F/-7°F.  Sunrise was at 6:57 AM and sunset will be at 6:38 PM.
