Windy And Cold – Mid Michigan
To look out the window, it looks like a very nice day, but when you step outdoors, it isn’t as nice as it looks. It is very windy and many of the leaves are blowing off the trees. That’s going to take a lot of the color with it. We had scattered, light lake effect showers yesterday afternoon. We didn’t get much rain, but we didn’t need it either. There was only 0.02″ in my gauge. Last night was our coldest so far this autumn, and we aren’t expecting much of a warmup anytime soon. At least we have a lot of sun today.
Our 1:45 PM temp is 52°F (11°C), the humidity is 52%, and skies are partly cloudy. Winds are from the NW at 10-17 mph and the pressure is 29.60 in (1002.4 mb) and falling. The dew point is 34°F (1°C) and the wind chill is 45°F (7°C). Visibility is 12 miles. Yesterday’s high was 54°F (12°C) and the overnight low was 36°F (2°C). Average temps for this date are 63°F/42°F.
