A Wet, Soggy Day . . . . .

A Wet, Soggy Day . . . . .

Rain moved in sometime overnight and has continued intermittently since then.  Radar is showing most of it pushing off to the east, so I don’t think that today will be a total washout.  Temperatures continue above average but fall to around where they should be by early next week.  Then by Christmas, the temps will be quite warm again, so no white Christmas for us this year.

Our 12:45 PM temperature is 45°F (7°C), the humidity is 96%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the SW at 2-6 mph and the dew point is 43°F (6°C).  The pressure is 29.53 in (1000.0 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 52°F  (11°C) and the overnight low was 41°F (5°C).  Average temps for this date are 34°F/22°F.  The record high for Dec. 17 is 52°F (11°C), set in 2006, and the record low is 7°F (-14C), set in 2013.  Sunrise was at 8:03 AM, and sunset will be at 5:04 PM.
