Another Day Of Dense Fog . . . .

We had heavy fog most of our Wednesday, and it remains this morning.  The dense fog advisory expires at 11 AM.  I haven’t seen fog like this in a long time and visibility was less than a mile much of yesterday.  I hope it is gone this afternoon.  The good thing is that temps were very mild and we lost quite a bit of snow.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 34°F (1°C), the humidity is 100%, and winds are calm.  The dew point is 34°F (1°C) and visibility is 1.25 miles.  The pressure is 29.93 in (1013.6 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 40°F (4°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Average temps for this date are 30°F/15°F.  The record high for Jan 24 is 66°F (1967), and the record low is  -22°F (1884).  Sunrise was at 8:00 AM and sunset will be at 5:39 PM.
