A Drizzly, Cold Day . . . . . .

A Drizzly, Cold Day . . . . . .

It is really quite a nasty day.  The dampness goes right through you when outdoors.  Thankfully it isn’t windy.  Yesterday, we had sprinkles on and off, and even a little graupel.  There was only 0.02″ in my gauge at 8:30, and we have had misty conditions most of the morning so far.  I’m seeing a few breaks in the clouds but not enough to let the sun shine through.  This weather feels more like early March than April.  We’re making up for the lovely weather that we had in March.

Our 2 PM temperature is 42°F (6°C), the humidity is 86%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the NW at 3-6 mph, and the pressure is 29.65 in (1004.1 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 37°F (3°C)  Yesterday’s high was 49°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 31°F (-1°C).  Average temps for this date are 52°F/32°F.  The record high for April 3 is 79°F (26°C) set in 1999, and the record low is 2°F (-17°C) set in 1965.  Sunrise was at 7:13 AM and sunset will be at 8:07 PM.
