Thunderstorms . . . .
A large thunderstorm just missed us. We were in Owosso shopping, and it appeared that they got a lot of it. As for us, we had a few sprinkles. I’m glad that it held off until we got home. There is nothing more on radar heading our way. At least for now. Yesterday really turned out to be a hot day with highs reaching the upper 80s. Today is expected to be the same, so any storms popping up should help keep the temperatures down a bit.
Our 1 PM temperature is 73°F, the humidity is 81%, and skies are overcast with thunder although no rain at this time. Winds are from the west at 5-13 mph, and the pressure is 30.00 in and steady. The dew point is 68°F and visibility is 8 miles. Yesterday’s high was 86°F and the overnight low was 55°F. Average temps for this date are 71°F/48°F. The record high for May 19 is 91°F set in 1911, and the record low is 26°F set in 2002.
