One Last Cooler Day . . . .

One Last Cooler Day . . . .

We have a major heat wave descending on us for this upcoming week.  This will not be a good time for an AC breakdown.  Monday will be the hottest with temps rising to the upper  90s.  Even the overnight lows will be very warm and dew points uncomfortably high.  It will be a good recipe for some strong, if not severe, thunderstorms.  When it gets this hot, rain is welcome.

Our 11:15 AM temperature is 70°F, the humidity is 51%, and winds are from the NE at 2-5 mph.  The dew point is 45°F and the pressure is 30.24 in and steady.  Visibility is 11 miles and skies are mostly clear.  The UV Index is very high at 9.  Yesterday’s high was 81°F, and the overnight low was 48°F. Average temps for this date are 79°F/56°F.  The record high for June 14 is 97F set in 1987, and the record low is 34°F set in 1978.  Sunrise was at 5:57 AM, and sunset will be at 9:18 PM.
